Washington, DC – (January 5, 2023) – Avalon Consulting Group is thrilled to announce that Sarah Birnie has joined the agency as a Vice President of Analytics.
A highly skilled fundraiser and analyst, Ms. Birnie brings to Avalon a wealth of experience on both the client and agency sides. She most recently served as Director of Professional Services at ROI Solutions, where she oversaw customer relationship management systems including project scoping, project plan creation, resource forecasting, and end-to-end testing. Ms. Birnie was also a founding member of ROI Solutions’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) steering committee.
Before her tenure at ROI, Ms. Birnie spent 12 years at the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), where she worked her way up from intern to Deputy Director, Analytics & Strategy. She developed analyses of HRC’s multimillion-dollar fundraising programs, spearheaded projects to improve sustainer retention, and managed the day-to-day operations of HRC’s canvas program. Under Ms. Birnie’s leadership, HRC’s multimillion-dollar monthly sustainer program grew by 500%.
