A highly skilled direct marketer and fundraiser, Ms. Barker brings a wealth of political fundraising experience to Avalon, most recently as Director of Marketing for Hillary for America, where she and her team raised $90 million through direct mail and telemarketing and grew the donor list to over 1 million. She placed a premium on fully engaging donors at all levels and developed a net-profitable acquisition program.
Prior to her tenure with the Clinton campaign, Ms. Barker served as Deputy Director of Marketing at the Democratic National Committee, as well as a number of other fundraising positions from 2008 to 2015, and on Capitol Hill. “Molly is well known in the world of political fundraising because she works hard and gets results,” said Avalon President Allison Porter. “She’s a perfect fit with our agency—a consummate professional deeply experienced in all facets of nonprofit fundraising and marketing, who will thrive in the fast-paced, collaborative environment Avalon is known for.”
