Avalon Consulting Group is thrilled to announce that Mina Stanard has joined the agency as a Senior Vice President today. Ms. Stanard spent the last 15 years with the National Parks Conservation Association, most recently as Vice President for Membership. In that capacity, she led and managed all membership fundraising programs, served on NPCA’s Executive Leadership Team, and provided accountability to Board committees and task forces.
“We’ve worked with Mina collaboratively for years and know her to be a consummate professional, exceptionally skilled in the best practices and bold, new ideas of integrated marketing and fundraising,” said Avalon President Allison Porter. “We are confident her strategic, analytic, and creative leadership will provide even greater support for Avalon’s expanding client base.”
Prior to her tenure at NPCA, Ms. Stanard served as Director of Membership at both The Wilderness Society and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. Early on, she honed her fundraising and management skills on the agency side, with progressively responsible roles at Craver, Mathews, Smith & Company.
Ms. Stanard is an accomplished fundraising executive—skilled in the management of people, programs, and budgets—and an award-winning industry leader, educator, and speaker.
Since 1997, Avalon has helped its clients raise millions of dollars to achieve their visions for a better world—while building relationships with people who share their passion and support their vital causes. “With Mina’s expertise and professionalism, Avalon will maintain its growth trajectory while continuing to build on its commitment to excellence as a firm,” said Ms. Porter. “Mina will join long-tenured Senior Vice President Kerri Kerr in overseeing client accounts, and as an integral member of Avalon’s management team. Please join me in warmly welcoming Mina to Avalon.”
