As Avalon’s Controller, Kristina provides accounting expertise and financial reporting to support Avalon’s management team as well as the daily accounting transactions.

What do you like best about your work at Avalon?

Working in the accounting department at Avalon puts me in the great position of being the link between the clients, staff, and management. I get to follow the projects from start to completion while assuring timely and correct billings to the client—and keeping Avalon’s financials up to date and compliant.

What is your favorite Avalon perk?

We get coupons! We have Treat-Coupons, which can be used for an office lunch or sweet treat when you need it, and Sleep-In Coupons for those especially difficult days.

Where are you traveling this year?

Lisbon, Portugal, had always been on my list of places to visit. I imagined it to be very beautiful, with amazing history and intriguing sights. This year I made it happen, and it turned out to be even better than I had envisioned.

What are you reading right now?

Zoobiquity: The Astonishing Connection Between Human and Animal Health. I am a certified practitioner in Healing Touch for Animals and am always looking to learn more about the human/animal connection.

What is your favorite way to release stress / clear your mind?

In addition to meditation and yoga, my favorite way to release stress is dancing. I am taking lessons in Argentine tango. There is nothing better than moving to beautiful music and making a connection with your dance partner.
