• In conjunction with its fascinating exhibition, Day to Night: In the Field with Stephen Wilkes, NatGeo is presenting a talk by the renowned photographer on February 13 from 7:30 to 9 pm. Wilkes’s images feature cityscapes and landscapes captured during a period of up to 30 hours from a fixed camera angle, thus infusing a single image with dozens of intriguing details and stories. • Love is everywhere at Farm Sanctuary’s Acton, California, shelter—especially around Valentine’s Day, when FS celebrates the deep emotional bonds of animals who have overcome the odds and learned to love again after surviving cruelty, neglect, and other threats. • Opening on January 18, the National Museum of the American Indian’s groundbreaking exhibition Americans highlights how American Indians have been a part of the nation’s identity since before America was America. Images, names, and stories reveal the connection between Americans and American Indians, as well as how deeply embedded Indians are in U.S. history, pop culture, and identity.
