Washington, DC – (October 1, 2021) – Avalon Consulting Group is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Tripi Consulting, effective today.
Led by veteran direct marketing fundraiser, Amy Tripi, Tripi Consulting adds talented staff and an incredible roster of clients to Avalon.
“Tripi Consulting and its clients align closely with Avalon’s values, so it is a natural fit,” said Avalon president and owner Allison Porter. “We are excited to welcome Tripi staff and clients to the Avalon family.”
Porter will maintain her role as president and owner of Avalon. Amy Tripi will join the Avalon staff as Chief Strategy Officer and oversee the transition. In the next year, she plans to retire from fundraising to devote her time to her energy healing practice, which she has run concurrently with her consulting business for the last eight years. “It’s time for me to move on to my next adventure and I can’t think of a better home for Tripi Consulting than Avalon,” said Tripi. “Avalon’s leadership in the industry is unmatched, and their similar fundraising philosophy and welcoming company culture will make the transition for Tripi’s clients and staff seamless.”
Avalon will take over management of Tripi’s 11 nonprofit clients and provide additional services in analytics and digital fundraising. “We are delighted to work with organizations that empower women, deliver critical health services, fight for justice, and advocate for LGBTQ individuals,” said Porter. “And I’m so grateful to Amy for entrusting us with her legacy of supporting these incredible nonprofits.”
