Fundraising Program Manager
Sarah Harris joined Avalon’s team in the spring of 2014 as a program manager. Although she was most recently an elementary school educator in the Prince Georges County (Maryland) and the District of Columbia school systems, Sarah brings to the position deep experience in nonprofit fundraising.
Sarah’s fundraising experience comes from years of work in the field of telemarketing—most recently as national call center director for the Share Group, a frequent Avalon partner. This position required a breadth of skills that Sarah possesses: exceptional client service, employee development and training, expert project management, budgeting, analysis, reporting, planning, and project management.
In her capacity as program manager at Avalon, Sarah is an integral part of our highly skilled team that produces exceptional direct marketing campaigns on time and on budget. Her scrupulous attention to detail, excellent communications skills, and knowledge of our industry make her an invaluable colleague.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family—especially supporting her kids in all of their activities—playing games, and reading.
