ABOUT AVALON CONSULTING
Aly has been working in the direct marketing industry in the Washington, DC area since 1998, so when she joined the Avalon team in 2013, we knew her extensive experience would serve her clients and colleagues well. Most recently, Aly was an integral critical part of the development team at Avalon client National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) for nine years, managing individual giving, as well as NCMEC’s sustainer program and graphic design assignments. Before that, Aly worked in development for Avalon client Galapagos Conservancy.
Her extensive service on the client side of the table—as well as her previous work for a variety of organizations, including stints as an assistant at an advertising agency, graphic designer for a real estate firm, and marketing assistant for a management consulting firm—have prepared her well for her position at Avalon.
Aly deftly manages fundraising and marketing campaigns for American Horticultural Society, National Air and Space Museum, and Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Her background in graphic design, as well as her experience in membership, fundraising, and print production are invaluable. Her clients and colleagues can attest to Aly’s impeccable attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and collaborative, team-player nature.
Outside of work, Aly loves to spend time with her husband and son, and enjoys reading whenever possible.
