Bill joined Avalon’s online services division in the fall of 2011 with five years of direct marketing experience at the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy (ACS). In his most recent position at ACS, as Director of Membership & Foundation Relations, Bill designed and executed the organization’s quarterly direct mail fundraising program, monthly online fundraising efforts and wrote grant proposals and reports for a multi-million dollar foundation program. In his previous position as ACS’s Associate Director of Development, Bill collaborated with board members and senior management on special projects and managed the organization’s entire individual giving program.

Bill brings to Avalon his extensive knowledge of direct marketing, including single-handedly creating multi-channel fundraising plans that take advantage of the full range of online communications. Bill’s collaborative style of working with decision makers at every level of an organization make him invaluable to his clients and to the Avalon team, as he is a creative and innovative problem solver.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys traveling, playing the piano, and being an uncle. His most recent trip abroad involved enjoying the beaches of Mykonos, Greece and seeing the sights in Rome, including climbing the 500 stairs to the top of St. Peter's Basilica.
