Since 2005, Gay has managed all aspects of Avalon’s technology and office systems, facilities, and administration. Simply put, she is the on-site, go-to person at Avalon with tremendous trouble-shooting and problem-solving capabilities.

Gay is an indispensable member of the Avalon team, whose expertise and support enables the rest of the staff to focus on helping Avalon’s clients raise more money through high-impact fundraising campaigns. Gay ensures that Avalon, as well as all client contracts, are properly registered in the required states. Gay also does everything from supporting the client service team in client contracts ... to finalizing and publishing presentations and reports … to keeping Avalon's technology up to date and in working order.

Outside of Avalon, Gay spends quite a bit of time (and energy) as a Girl Scout leader, mentoring six Cadette Girl Scouts—which she describes as a very rewarding experience. This past year she and her family decided to take on the challenge of “section hiking” the entire Appalachian Trail—only 2,000+ miles to go!
