TJ came to Avalon in 2004 from NARAL Pro-Choice America, where she managed a 250,000-member integrated direct mail, telemarketing, and online direct marketing program, as well as a large state affiliate fundraising program. It was at NARAL that TJ discovered her passion for direct marketing and decided to make this her career.

At Avalon, TJ has led and managed integrated, multi-channel fundraising programs for a range of clients, including Farm Sanctuary, the Center for Biological Diversity, the African Wildlife Foundation, the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, Food & Water Watch, Galapagos Conservancy, and the National Breast Cancer Coalition. TJ excels at all aspects of fundraising program management, but especially loves the analytical side of her work. Her ability to analyze client data and translate the findings into innovative campaign strategies has produced exceptional results for her clients.

In 2008, TJ took a six-month sabbatical to backpack through Asia with her husband, a trip that led her from the jungles of Laos to the peaks of Nepal to the deserts of China. She currently resides in Durango, CO, where-depending on the season-you’re likely to find her on a snow board or mountain bike.
